jon1: do you know accounting? Ebay proceeds is still an assets. Dumb directors (or under KPs instructions) they just left it in bank earning interests. Enthusiasts will invest and realise more money. Therefore this income of $3.2 is expected every year.
You say other businesses are nothing; then why PBL is interested? You know PBL prices shot up today? easy money?
