ECS stay away from anything energy intensive to keep their costs in check which is a large part of how their medicinal cannabis business is already cash flow positive. On of of their investor presentation it lists their cost per gram as being only 20 cents.

Like amb005 mentioned, my understanding is they do one grow per year using sunlight, but the size of the grow gets bigger and bigger. The shelf life on their products has been certified as 12 months so it's a strategy that works for them.

The ODC approved their stage 3 expansion in August this year, if they were to utilise all the space that is now licensed to cultivate my guess is they could pump out 20 - 30 tonnes per year.
