They don't do 2 a year - in the article you posted the FIRST crop they did took 131 days from PROPOAGATION Which includes 2 weeks for germination, 4 weeks for veg (at least) then they have the flower cycle and being a first crop may take a little longer. . Now 3 years after they STRATED they dont have to crack seeds, wait for veg, they just fill a flower room and off they go... a lot has to do with your genetics and how those specific genetics grow inside your own facility but getting the growing time down to 8 weeks is common now...
Do you know what brands do ECS supply their flower too? just so i can have an idea of what quality of products that they have produced.
I am a patient so i am keen to know
