I emailed the company on Friday about the trial and got a response today. The response was that the trial is going better than expected and they will be announcing results soon. The cost to upgrade the existing polys to grow throughout winter is negligible and expect it will only take a couple of months to complete. The new PCEs when they build them (not confirmed when) will all be built with the new tech included. Solar capacity at the site is enough to power all existing PCEs throughout the extended season.
Looks like we just increased our capacity by 1/3 with next to no additional capital outlay!
