I’m not an expert, but I have seen other companies that have sold a tenement with a fresh DFS and good outlook & shareholders got a “special dividend”.
It is assumed that issuing a special dividend to shareholders would help minimise high tax obligations associated with a successful compensation payment to AEE. This would boost the share price short term
Otherwise, having some more oversight on the board of directors, such as Preemptive who is a major investor, would help make wise decisions. This could include possibly investing in another project as a major partner, with near term cash flow & may possibly offer some tax deductions.
Anyway let’s not count our chickens before they hatch .
