What I will also clarify is that the above is my take, and the reason I still reflect on stocks even if I don't currently own them. Others may have different reasons.
I'll also quote Lynch and say that investing is about removing emoitions from your decisions. I want to know if I sold too early, or too late. It won't make me jealous either way if I made the "wrong" choice, its about evaluating your decisions with as little emotion as possible. Lynch goes on to say if you can't do this, you shouldn't be investing in individual stocks and stick with ETFs.
