ECT PLANS vs REALITY

According to ECT's latest quarterly report, going forward they intend to get the 'gatehouse refurbished and returned to full use'.

What the gatehouse will be controlling is not exactly clear.

The problem is ECT is a bit short of a working production facility this gatehouse is being refurbished for.

It's also a bit short of the $230 million reported here it would cost to construct it.

'Environmental Clean Technologies has purchased four hectares on Yallourn Drive on the site of the former Powerhouse Hotel, which would be converted into offices, laboratories and training areas.The $230 million plant would be the largest agricultural char producer in the southern hemisphere, and once built would go straight to full commercialisation.'

Until this capital somehow appears, the difference between what ECT dreams of achieving (being a green industry leader) and what it can achieve (refurbishing a derelict gate house) will remain vastly different.
