Happy New Year all!
sovereign risk comes into focus very quickly when these sort of events take place. Have not had a good run. It only takes a couple of guys with guns riding horses into a mining camp and all the wheels can fall off, let along a military junta taking the reins back from a budding democracy. If this turns to custard it would be the 3rd investment in a row where residual value post sovereign risk event leaves me with 100% right off, and hence the crazy valuation of STM's massive and rapidly growing in ground resource! Investing in this end of the market is not for the faint hearted. AIMHO DYOR and good luck to all.
