It depends on if its a small, medium or large jackpot - or maybe even a super jackpot!
With a share price of 2.1c, the stock has a market cap of $67m.
A major discovery could be worth several hundred million or more.
However, a single hole rarely tells you just how good a discovery is and it always requires further drilling to define a JORC resource.
A long intersection with high gold or copper equivalent grades would signify a large discovery.
The stock could double or triple but still have more upside if the resource is proven up and the grades improve.
It is really a guessing game and that is why buying on news of discovery can be tricky.
Sometimes the market over-estimates the quality of the result and sometimes it underestimates.
I have sold too soon on occasion (eg CHN, AZS) and held too long (eg ASM, CPN).
AT current levels, the downside seems very limited.
On technicals, the stock looks way oversold.
When the tax loss selling finishes and there is positive news its all upside.
A run up to 4c should not be that hard.
It is not that long ago we had a market cap of $200m.
That equates to about 6.7c on the increased capital.
Is 10c out of the question?
Not in my opinion - but its not going there next week or even next month.
Lets just see where we are at Christmas.
