Quadrant Growth Fund is closing in on its maiden acquisition, Street Talk can reveal.
Limited partner sources told Street Talk that Quadrant is poised to acquire Grays Online, Australia’s biggest online liquidator and onetime tech clearing house.
Grays Online has been on the block following a $130 million impairment at embattled owner, ASX-listed motor finance play Eclipx Group.
An announcement is expected as early as Friday.
UBS advised Eclipx, while Gilbert + Tobin and KPMG Corporate Finance tended to Quadrant.
