Who wouldn't, don't forget, you put up your stocks as securities to buy other stocks and other assets right? Anyway, what better ways to take over a company if not killed off all the existing major shareholders in a big marginal loan slide, with most of the directors out of the way, who else is left to stop them from taking over?
Like I said before, this is something that is typical with an "asian" hostile takeover. I am amazed that all the news only focus on they "sold" x amount of shares, and not go into when, how, and why at certain prices. Guess all the directors was playing golf and was unaware of someone making a move on them. They should get better financial advisers in an event like this, so that they can react better to this whole situation.
