the US has hundreds of coal fired power stations. There are over 500 CFPS across the 50 states ..... say an average of 10 per state ....... there is bound to be multiple suitable locations for production facilities that will have proximity to the fly ash, rail lines, power (obviously), and the end users of proppant - the frackers and the gas wells. The potential for transportation cost savings is huge ..... if/when LNG get the export side of things going .... fracking of gas wells is going to be ramped right up one would think ...... perhaps joining the dots between LNG & CKK with EAS is quite logical. Stonepeak are also invested in Paradigm Energy Partners ..... so they are heavily into the gas scene ..... the smoke is getting quite thick is would seem.
