ABC now have a different article "Legal experts and NT children's commissioner raise concerns over police powers in Alice Springs curfew"
https://www.abc.net.au/news/2024-03-29/nt-legal-experts-raise-concerns-over-alice-springs-curfew/103644876
an expert is quoted saying Quote [Child protection advocate Natalie Hunter said children on the streets of Alice Springs mainly came from complex backgrounds."Some of these children are homeless, some of these children are through the child protection system, that are wandering through the streets," Ms Hunter said.]
Sounds to me like another Commonwealth intervention is needed.
So ATSI kids have a safe home to live in where they get sleep at night and decent meals then attend school when it is on.
