l wasn't a big fan of the Voice . lt seemed to me to be just another committee rather than something that made a difference.

That said, the opposition offered no alternative. Not a thing. They just opposed it for the sake of it.

lt was a real chance for the opposition to offer an alternative strategy that could've made a difference. A chance for them to gain some credibility. They failed horribly.

l expect that after the election, provided labor wins , they will come up with a new policy to address the issue. The Voice was a spectacular failure . They won't want to bring that up again for a while.
