I spent 12 months in Alice Springs a few decades ago and it was a great little town, very safe and peaceful day or night. Not anymore. It's not right to see these towns decaying into what they have become. Something must change if First Nations kids have any hope for a future outside of a community existence with lost pride.
Govts have failed them, there's no doubt about that.
