Well a pretty muted response to a v.good ann. IMO.
Edencrete has the potential to deliver a product that reduces the need for steel, and to increase the impermability of the structures. Oz-based research into high strength, reo-less edenconcrete, in parallel to the US trials, opens up multiple fronts for Edencrete advancement & exposure.
The potential for concrete-cancer resistant concrete alone is huge. Consider the number of building sites exposed to coastal/salt conditions worldwide. For anyone who has stumped up for the repair of an affected property or pool, where huge sums are paid out for treatment that is inevitably either temporary or with uncertain success(hence the cancer analogy) the potential benefits would be stark.
Consider also the pool industry where concrete cancer is a huge problem. Could pools be made sans reinforcing?Revolutionary.Dams, ponds, oil&gas wells also, where Edencrete may also deliver a sought after increase in impermability.
Minimising the use of steel reinforcing has multiple benefits -reductions in material, labour costs to seteup reo, as well as ensuring the longevity of structures built.
Looking forward to developments
