    Hey, pickledfish, thanks for the post and not wanting to put a dampener on this, but my take is as follows:

    Hythane is a mixture of methane (is that correct?) and hydrogen - as such it is more or less a fossil fuel i.e. a non-renewable form of energy. It is probably cleaner than burning petrol or diesel, but nevertheless, greenhouse gases and other pollutants are produced. Plus hydrogen is very energy intensive to produce.

    Alos, there are many hybrid buses out there and these, I believe, are a stepping stone to full electric buses which if you Google you will find they are on the drawing board. There's even one on trial in Adelaide. Not to mention all the electric cars that are in development. They're about be everywhere!

    So I see EDE as interesting but a blip on the radar on the way to fully electric vehicles.

    I didn't want to post such a negative post on the EDE thread, but since you mentioned it on the GDY thread, I feel better about it. :-)

    On the other hand, I could be speaking absolute garbage!

    I hold lithium mining shares by the way, so I'm biased.
