In Wichita, KS, the new five story “RISE” parking garage is benefitting from a boost of carbon nanotube technology in their concrete. EdenCrete has been specified by Andale Ready Mix to improve the durability of the 550-vehicle carpark by reducing surface abrasion, cracking, and scaling from deicer-chemicals. EdenCrete will be used in 2,700 cubic yards of concrete to enhance the performance of elevated decks, ramps, sidewalks, and points of ingress/egress. Conco personnel have commented on the ease with which the concrete can be pumped and finished as compared to traditional concrete.
