Accelerator admixtures are used in concrete to speed the setting time. Perhaps a contractor may be able to do more jobs in a week than they currently do?

Finally, by using EdenCrete in the concrete mix, it is possible that the DOT's can simply use EdenCrete as their only admixture and therefore actually save money, as well as getting their roads and bridges into service sooner (which will also save them money). Reducing the inconvenience to the motoring public is also a major plus. There will also be an environmental advantage, due to the fact that motorists will spend much less time in traffic jams.

I thought I would try and get some sort a dollar figure associated with the cost savings of not using an accelerator admixture.
I googled "cost of concrete accelerators" and came up with this on the first page (sorry I don't know how to attach Links at this stage).
Quote " A nonchloride Accelerator can cost about $3.50 to $7.00 per cubic yard but in some cases can be considerably higher"
It seems significant to me what do you think?
