I couldn't be further from being any kind of expert in the area of plastics (or concrete for that matter!) however I am very interested in any technology that allows the creation of stronger lighter products.
I have invested in another aussie company who are hopefully going to blow wide open the scandium market, which will allow the economical use of scandium strengthened aluminium in multiple industries. In particular, this is likely to be of significant interest to the airline and automobile industries, and it is here that I believe Edenplast could shine. Both cars and planes are made of a significant amount of plastic these days, and if we could produce stronger, lighter plastics that they can use I feel they would be of great interest to these manufacturers.
Both of those industries need to meet strict emissions targets in the near future, and I would imagine one of the easiest ways to do this is to reduce their weight.
