One of the things I hoped to see more of based on Yowie's long-term strategy was building the brand as an entertainment property. Licensing Angry Birds seems to take them in the opposite direction - renting an entertainment property that others have created. This becomes all the more concerning if Ferrero jumps in, now that it seems they can. If Ferrero jumps in, Yowie won't get a chance to build a brand and all they'll have is table scraps.
