The 'three attractive targets' are intracellular. Phylogica already have a number of in-house programs e.g. targeting CD40L. The CD40 Ligand, however, is an extracellular target. I would understand that the 'three attractive targets' are new programs which are additional to the existing programs including the PYC35 phylomer (extracellular?) which you have mentioned.

Do you have any information about these new intracellular programs? I wonder whether details are being kept under wraps in the interest of conducting confidential negotiations with Big Pharma.

"Over the past year the internal R&D efforts has been focused on areas where alliance partners have interest, in particular with cell penetrating peptides, which could be used as transporters to carry payloads into cells and address intractable intracellular targets," P6 Edison Report.

Now its really interesting. Note that the Edison Report states alliance partners rather than potential Big Pharma collaborators i.e. Roche, AZ, Pfizer and Jannsen. Which of our alliance partners have expressed interest in using phylomers as transporters to carry payloads into cells? I think I know the answer but I will have to conduct further research. I understand that I'm connecting a number of dots but the speculation is absolutely fascinating. We may be on the verge of concluding a new agreement on a high profile intracellular target with one of our existing alliance partners.
