G’day II.

One of the snippets I recall without watching it again was Bill’s comments about seeing the impacts of raised cortisol on cognition in MRI tests. I haven’t seen much talk about that before.

But the main one was the “intriguing study” in neurology in a Framingham Massachusetts study group which showed a benefit to cognition from reduced cortisol in a younger age group. This was published within the last 6 months and lends well to the XanaHES strategy of looking at targeting healthy elderly or even a younger target population with the intent of preventing cognitive decline or the onset of Alzheimer’s disease.
