Well he did build the company and the innovations that back it, with over 600 patents in families of patents. You sir, did not.

The only point about the number of shares that Prof Iltescu holds and the management also hold is that it's enough shares to block a hostile takeover. One of the biggest threats to shareholders being about to see a biotech go to full maturity and reap the rewards of Australian biotechs are cheap takeovers at a time just prior to commercialisation. The latter is the most expensive stage and it's this that MSB is financing through the Nasdaq listing and will do so with joint ventures, currently under negotiation. One with a Big Pharma has been extended.

That kind of planning security is one of the reasons I bought into MSB. I figured it would be likely to grow to full maturity. And it is. You must be prepared to withstand the volatility however. For some reason you seem reluctant to do this.

It's one thing to have excellent science, it's another to have the stamina and smarts to set the company up so that is immune to takeover.

And that was the point. The reason to hold a lot of stock. Plus you invent it, you keep it. It's got a simple logic to it.

What you are writing here is some kind of politics of envy rant. But what you say is true and you actually do live very close to Prof Iltescu, by definition you are hardly in struggletown yourself.

No more to say on the subject? Keep it real.
