However I have never stated the settlements as being a major issue rather just one of many.
I would agree that if members of the IDF had family members and or friends that were victims of terrorist attacks (which no doubt a number do) then it would be hard not to want to seek revenge and maybe even over step the line.
At the same time though if I were a Palestinain who had family members who were innocent in the conflict and were killed by the IDF for no other reason than being in the wrong place at the wrong time. I would be inclined to seek revenge any way i could.
Which is clearly why it is called a cycle of violence and why revenge is not always the best solution
Could you also please explain why is it that as soon as some thing negative is written about Israel it is something that has been "manipulated to the Palestinianr advantage by their spin-doctors, world media and anti-Israel factions around the world". Could it not be that at times it is just a case of Israel being in the wrong and you can not honestly say that Israel also at times does not use lies and distorted facts to their advantage.
