An interesting EDV statistic from its current 'Parma for a farmer' charity-related promotion at the c.350 ALH Group hotels nationally is in a typically week, the EDV pubs sell 40000 parmas.
This sounds impressive but is about 16.5 per day per pub. However on a quiet Monday or Tuesday, sales would be much lower, but far higher on Friday and Saturday nights when many of these former 'Woolies pubs' are really humming.
And remember, parmas are only one menu item. I never order one, but many Australians love them almost as much as BGA's Vegemite.
