The other half works at a Dan's. Staff are instructed to NOT get involved, for the safety of the staff. Even other patrons are taking a risk if intervening to prevent a theft. My other half stands a distance away and yells loudly at the individual so everyone in the shop knows what the thieving piece(s) of $h1t look like. But they have no shame, the crime typically completes.
