Trump is a false Mesiah
He is simply playing to the void of discontent and wealth inequality created by globalisation.
Globalisation is the marker of post industrial decline of Western economies and it was wrought by market economics over-reach, not politicians and political process per se.
The disaffected have nowhere to go after failure by a President Trump, other than perhaps accelerated dystopian decline.
