Hang on, am I hearing you right? You have a couple of hundred thousand of Lynas shares which is circa $500k. That's well well above the super average balance of retiring Australians.
Lynas is growing at around let's call it 100%pa for the last couple of years. Now I don't know when you got in, but if you've been around the last couple then your retirement savings were worth $150k towards the end of 2016.
Feel free to sell up and sit on a 2% term deposit for the next year or maybe you will get another 100% return as the SP approaches $5 this time next year. Heck, let's be pessemistic and presume it takes two years.
If that happens I implore you to complain to anyone about your $1m nest egg and see how many tears are shed for you.
