Lynxxy. I am sure what GXY's forthcoming new experience is not a new thing so far as the market in general is concerned. Fund managers will trade in companies as they consider necessary recognizing and factoring the myriad of global and local factors which may or may not affect the fundamentals of the company concerned.
I am sure you are more knowledgeable in these matter than I but if the US were to go the way of Greece tomorrow, there would be an immediate repercussion in our futures market and the wider market in general at opening the next day including that of the companies making up the ASX300 index.
I still reckon all things being equal GXY's sp will be volatile in all probability more so than what has been experienced of late but that is my view.
