Yes. I agree that we can take it that the drug is safe in this patient population. What about effective? We can also be very sure that the drug was not a miracle cure at these doses or the trial would have been halted for ethical reasons. After reviewing some of the literature I wonder if the conservative dose and scheduling could be a problem. Would be a real shame if the science was solid but the dose too low to produce a significant result.
Has management indicated that they can detect a positive treatment effect in the blinded data? Please elaborate. If that is true, it is hard to understand the massively diluting capital raise - why? If ACW really has an effective treatment for AD then they clearly do not need any hand holders. The world would come to them. Let us hope so - but we have about a year before we find out.
In the meantime I assume that an announcement re the diabetes trial will be forthcoming.
