if the market or investors had any concerns with AOE overpaying or losing out, they would have been discounting the share price.
i suspect AOE gets one more bid without being punished and they are being rewarded by having a nice 20% stake and the possibility of being on the radar of shell or others.
could be short term fluctuations but certainly one to hold for the year ahead. if they were to get cash from PES being taken over by BG, then they will swimming in the stuff.
