    EFTel MSAN Investor Presentation
    23 April 2008

EFTel (ASX: EFT) has produced an Investor Presentation in relation to the company’s new BroadbandNext network announced on 1 November 2007. BroadbandNext is a Multi-Service Access Node (MSAN) deployment in telephone exchanges across Australia, making it the most technically advanced national broadband network.
    Highlights of the presentation include:
    1. The roll-out is on track, with 30 of the 70 installations already completed.
    2. Extensive coverage throughout Brisbane and Melbourne.
    3. Targeted coverage in Sydney, Perth and Hobart.
    4. The next phase is under active consideration.
CEO Simon Ehrenfeld said today that existing customers would be ported to the BroadbandNext network from the first week of May. “New customers will be accepted on a test basis from the end of April. In-house testing has been successful and we anticipate a smooth transition,” he said.
“Apart from delivering superior services to customers, BroadbandNext will also assist EFTel to drive down costs and add to profitability,” Mr Ehrenfeld said.
EFTel’s MSANs will deliver VDSL2, ADSL2+, traditional ADSL, SHDSL corporate solutions, IP Video, VoIP, and “Naked DSL”. VDSL2 will enable speeds around 3 to 4 times faster than ADSL2+ and up to several hundred times faster than traditional ADSL from Telstra.
EFTel Ltd will be selling the new services through its retail, wholesale and corporate businesses.
