Dose escalation in small cohorts to find optimum therapeutic dose is a basic requirement.
AIPAC (01) phase 2b at 30mg missed by such a small margin that it is almost a given, had 90mg been the approved dose, Efti would be approved today.
Essentially, Immutep lost several years and $ millions to realise such a fundamental dose escalation protocol.
