Hurrah to the little guys! SLR's difficulty now is that they do not have anybody at EGA they can deal with in order to determine what is likely to be an acceptable offer. The EGA directors are no longer reputable and so the best that they can do is to obtain a truly independent valuation. If SLR re-offer, then normally all those who have already accepted receive the new offer; but if SLR sit on their 30% and make it unconditional and complete then can't they can come back later with a new and better offer without topping up the earlier acceptors?
