Hi rights, The Bid document is not very clear on this. On page 63 of the Bidder's Statement under clause 11.18 it says: Note the sentence about SLR being "satisfied .... that it is lawful ... to accept ... in the relevant jurisdiction." NZ is usually regarded as OK to receive ASX shares in a takover and so I recommend that you seek further professional advice on this, should the takeover go ahead, and before you complete the acceptance form. I know of a NZ resident who was issued SLR shares from the DRM takeover and no restriction was applied. Notwithstanding, I hope that you can join with us in opposing the takeover and as an EGA shareholder you have the right to vote.
