somewhere watso noticed that milk has lactic acid, which is a tenderizer - so watso saved the milk from cooking the cod - and is now soaking some pork chops in the solution... later on will slow cook (ie simmer on the induction cooker) the pork chops.

someone mentioned that slow cooking meat on a bed of onions is a good idea, as onions also act as a tenderizer ... mmm get a bit of a mixed reading about onions

I cooked my chook on a bed of onions and garlic in the slow cooker. Divine!

If you ever have ingredients and can't find any recipes. Go to www.supercook.com. You put in the ingredients you have and it comes up with recipes.

Pork is really cheap where we are at present.
