Is the GST not levied on AUSTRALIAN CONSUMERS ???? and as such, should not the consumers pay tax on the non exempt items irrespective of where they buy it from..... I personally don't agree with many aspects of GST but less tax in one area only means more tax in another. Also agree with above comments regarding retailers (large and small) ripping off consumers.
