I'm no expert, but I don't think this is correct.

Among other things, that website states:
"Section 203D(1) allows members to vote on a resolution to remove a director. . . . The director in question must be given a copy of the notice as soon as possible (s203D(3)) and also given the opportunity to defend himself or herself (s203D(4)). A director can do this by means of a written statement which the company must circulate to members, or if there is insufficient time the statement must be read at the meeting unless it is defamatory or over 1000 words long (s203D(5)-(6))."
