Hello MACLEOD,
I researched this stock with One thing in mind and that was to produce something...platinum.
and legal, social,financials,so many details came into that which formed very interesting big picture.
The speculators arent valued or very productive so perhaps NKP is waiting for some real miners to take it on.
My thoughts in the last post are clear. Instead of prospectus giving each shareholder an equal vote I am suggesting that voting rights be tied to the $ value of your holding. Put your money where your mouth is...or rather get a voice for your money....now why I make this suggestion is times are changing from the old days when shares were first inplemented and with short selling and technical trading the game is getting changed.
The marketplace is a casino for "specultors" instead of a financier of "production".
Imagine and old abacus with beads on it to count your votes....these days the abacus is technical and could have different sized beads on it...and you could get a lot of votes for a big bead ie costly involvement.
I imagine tribes given beads wont like that but perhaps government ?costly bead would like it.
In this scenario....just as an example...Minority shareholders could have paid much more for they involvement and do they deserve a bigger bead and a bigger say? No my idea is not about NKP however it is as a result of watching NKP and others and I am trying to think of something to re-balance power to those heavily invested to production. Old concepts need rejigging by experienced professionals and perhaps rebalancing in future prospectives to protect the market place and give minority investors a go.
We have quite a few billion in super at risk and we do need to produce produce produce.
Governments should do much more imo.
Sorry to take up your time with my novice far out ideas but as we can all see right here something has to be done to stop the market place merry go round and all the hard ground work being devalued.
