Not being a geographer or sample analyst it is hard to actually understand the significance of the "rock chip samples only" phrase. For all we know, the bits that chip could be chipping because it's on the surface and the surface is where the high purity stuff accumulates; or that it's chipping because high purity Cu chips, whereas the low purity ones don't, hence weren't part of the analysis. So the results could easily be misleading. It may easily not be, of course, but not being a geographer, I personally can't be sure of the significance of these tests.
Just being a devil's advocate.
