I can understand the position people have with this. And if the numbers work out then that's a capitalist democracy for you... however it seems like the numbers to make a change are a massive challenge - perhaps not really feasible.
my suggestion is that if this idea for an EGM is going to fail, let it fail fast.
The more chatter there is in here about something that might not be achievable, the more airtime it gets - it will forever stain the halls of HotCopper on 4DS and potentially leave a bad impression for me buyers who may use this as a research tool. This kind of stuff scares people off, not attracts them..
and largely it will be new buyers who will drive the share price up.
so not actively discouraging the effort at all, if the opportunity comes we're all entitled to our votes.
And im not suggesting it's today that this call needs to be made. BUT I think at some point a level of maturity should kick in and someone on here will need to call time of death on the EGM horse... Save it from being unnecessarily flogged.
