    The vast majority of JD's shares were issued to him free from the company, its covered in the original prospectus from the reverse-merger of Fitzroy Resources. Some was in lieu of salary, but yeah... almost entirely issued at no cost to him. This is a non-factor and not that important in the grand scheme of things, but don't expect him to be passionately involved with improving anything as he's already financially wealthy and isn't waiting for this to sell to retire.

    None of the current or previous directors of the company have their own personal money at risk. Dave did buy in originally - but he also sold out taking a profit so he is in the net positive bracket - might be a caveat to this as his wife's trust also has some in their portfolio from memory.

    I'm actually in favour of removing their salaries entirely, pay them in equity (with the exception to Ting Yen) and then they just might start to care about the share price.
