I don't think he has actually resigned as a director.
He said he was confident and pleased to have passed on the responsibilities to the new directors.
at end of meeting, Dirk thanked Gavin for all his work and effort.
So the change is definitely happening.
I am not sure that Sue is actually the Chair yet?
There was no declaration of that occurring - that is a matter for the Board - but it will happen.
The meeting was run by Gavin. He was the Chair of that meeting as far as I could tell.
So Sue will now take over.
No one can judge Sue yet, until she puts her stamp on the company.
One thing is clear to me - and that communication will be only on a need-to-know basis. Thats my observation.
And the reason for that is as Alhotcop said - Dirk said "underpromise - overdeliver".
Why? because if the give timelines, absolute numbers etc -> they get crucified if they don't deliver.
Eg, thank the smarties who claim Class Actions underway -> well, why would a director expose himself to a law suit?

There were no new announcements - just a confirmation of what we can expect.
They are impressive.
GR speaks really well. He knows his stuff. He is still the biggest s/h, and he will not sell out for a pittance I reckon.
Dirk is SO impressive. Knows his stuff, presents really well, and is believable.
There is something BIG around the corner - we just need to be patient.
