egm summary

Just back from attending the EGM.

Meeting was chaired by Albert Wong with MR in attendance.
Lucy T, Matt L and Rick Hammel were on the conference phone.

Both resolutions passed as anticipated.
Plenty of opportunity for Q&A.

A few notable points:

1. SPP shareholder uptake a little disappointing, but nevertheless sufficient to co-fund the additional cancer trials.

I spoke to the Ord Minnett rep afterwards. They are not doing an overnight bookbuild of the shortfall shares as there is a 3 month period for the sale of the shortfall. So we won't know the overall amount raised for some time as in may come in in parcels over that time.

2. The final amount of participating director takeup of the shortfall from the SPP will be announced tomorrow.

3. Additional cancer indications selection for Mucin 1 producing cancers is being considered on the basis of unmet need and size of potential market as well as sufficient patients and doctors working on the indication. The decision as to what they will be to be announced IN 3 WEEKS.

4. Asked about the recent announcement of Fang from Gradalis. ML said that there was not much information in the release but it seemed they are targetting late stage ovarian cancer patients as opposed to Cvac looking at early stage. He will wait for more info from the presentation they are doing at the upcoming conference.
