If you have voted for the motion and marked X in the for boxes on the proxy form and appointed the Chairman then he cannot change your vote. He must vote that proxy for the motion. Only if you don't mark X for your vote and leave the vote "open" the Chairman can then vote how he likes. So if you have marked your vote you are ok . The Chairman cannot change it.
