I checked with Michael Ansell the Policy & research officer at the Australian Shareholders Association (ASA) regarding proxy results.
The Company is supposed to release the results of the vote on the resolutions and to date they have not done so. The results are probably very embarrassing to the Board. They also don't want to let you the retail shareholders realise how much power you actually have in such small companies if you would only exercise your voting rights and not be totally apathetic and disinterested as is the norm.
In their ASX release they have only noted that all the resolutions were withdrawn prior to the EGM. Would someone with a major share holding like to e-mail the Company secretary and request that they release the results of the vote on the resolutions. They are required to do so under the continuous disclosure rules of the ASX according to the ASA.
