An alternative to growing the business is to sell it at a handsome premium. Parts of EGN would suit a company like MND, which recently won a long-term maintenance contract to keep RIOs railway operating in good nick. MND has shown an inclination for JVs, so that too is an alternative. These things aside, if EGN continues to do what it has done in the recent past, I would be happy.
I have held since the bad-old days of Michael Coote's stewardship. What a cock-up he occasioned. If I were the dictator of Australia, I would have had him executed (fustigated by shareholders) for the Greentrains shenanigans.
