I didnt say it was suspicious your question was "There is no good reason for someone to buy and sell to themselves."
I have answered it I never said it was suspicious however if you look at the rules it is the intent that the person has that could make it suspicious.
I dont believe it actually fits the definition of market making as such and I dont think that the ASX has that role defined. In the UK AIM market they have that - not sure its exactly what the definition I would have in mind. But that is a broker clearing both sell and buy by being the market maker - especially for less liquid stocks.
I must say you really seem to like being confrontational with anyone that has an opposing view - So I am off to make more money - hopefully?
