It could well be, it appears some deal/s is/are getting finalized...when you see how much money is getting thrown around on Co's who are still in research status in the hope to find an improved anode formula which might give the manufacture a slight advantage, and then we have EcoGraf
who has worked out a way to not only make anode material cheaper and better performing but also environmentally much better with a process that is ready NOW and has been tested, validated and fine tuned for over 3 years and one major factor which might be overlooked is that for the EcoGraf process to work it is not limited to one particular deposit, like some of our peers, but it has been validated to work successfully on 9 deposits from different regions, this alone represents such a supply chain security for potential end users that it is hard to put a $ value on it, and since Covid and Trade Wars this will be a major consideration during negotiations I would think.
The engineering design study of the recycling module should be fairly advanced considering they stumbled onto this beauty by accident sort of, a batch of black mass was run through our existing demo plant in Germany and the results were quiet amazing, so we already have a flow sheet, it just needed some tweaking to allow for the black mass instead of fresh ore characteristics to run through the plant with the aim to see by how much % the purity of the recycled anode material can be improved to, furthermore, considering we already have the detailed feasibility study completed for a EcoGraf plant ie, costings, floor space requirements, energy and water consumption, labor costs etc it would not take our Engendering Partner GR Engineering very long to present a costing proposal to any interested parties.
Considering no harsh chemicals are required for our process adding it to any industrial building will not present any problems.
* Is it Epanko
* Is it EcoGraf Plant #1
* Is it a Recycling announcement
* Is it an Offtake announcement
I am hoping high, but so far it's based on rumors'.
Time to get out the 'Deck Chair' and have a nice drink.
